September Primark Haul

Welcome to my blog,

After a while of not going in to Primark I ended up walking in and buying a few things. I haven't done a haul blog for quite some time now so this will definitely make up for it. I ended spending around £60 due to getting my boyfriend something from there to.

Primark thermal mug £3
I didn't thinks this would be as good as it actually is as I only brought it because I liked the style and colour but it actually does a really good job of keeping the heat in and holds quite a bit in there although it's not too stable could easily knock it over and you just know it'll pour out its bad for the price I give this a good 7.5/10.

5 mini brief nickers £3.50

4 full brief nickers £3
These are bigger than I though and I guess you could class these as tummy control type knickers because of the style  but to be honest I only picked these up because I liked the colour of the bows haha.
Primark eye liner pencils and sharpener £1 I really like these pencil eyeliners I haven't yet found a good brand that can last me a good few hours yet but these are nice to use until you have to sharpen them in struggling to get it to be soft for my eyes in stead of part of the pencil that keeps poking me.

Snuggle socks (Bambi) £2.50

These are ridiculously soft and so cute, they are a purple colour but unfortunately the photo doesn't do it much justice if you see this definitely feel them. (Now that I've worn them I feel they definitely look better to look at than wear but it hasn't put me off)

Light blue jeans £12

I have been looking to get my self quite a big bag for some time as the one I have now is falling apart literally and has holes in but I'm so picky so I found this and thought omg get it. The detail is simple but it just makes the bag look better it has a zip and pickets inside with it being quite roomy as well. This was £10.

This is such a lovely dark purple colour. It was £10 but I don't like the way it looks on me so I will probably return it. Definitely going to keep my eye on jumpers this colour for autumn.

Front
Back
Sleeve
I really like this top the only problem is it's quite a tight fit for the size so I need to get the next size up. I love how it's plain with a little bit of detailing on the arm and back. The colour is a nice dark blue. This is £9.

Getting The Implant

Welcome to my blog,

I got the implant about a month ago and thought I'd write a blog about it.

What the NHS says:
The contraceptive implant is a small flexible tube about 40mm long that's inserted under the skin of the upper arm. It is inserted by a trained professional and lasts for 3 years. The implant stops the release of an egg from the ovary by slowly releasing progestogen into your body. Progestogen also thickens the cervical mucus and thins the womb lining. This makes it harder for sperm to move through your cervix, and less likely for your womb to accept a fertilised egg.

The area was numbed but it still hurt. I could only feel a burning sensation and a pushing sensation as the doctor was putting it in. I'd say it hurt 6/10 so it wasn't extremely painful but you could still feel it.

It only hurt for 2-3ish days and has not hurt since I can feel it every now and again and the doctor did show me where it was in my arm so I could feel it and show the person who will take it out where it is.

I am typically not someone that likes going round showing everybody where it is and trying to make everyone touch it haha.

If you're thinking of getting it because you are on the pill and forget to take it sometimes (like me) I'd say definitely give this a go if you don't like it, it is easily removed.

The only side affects I've had is feeling a little sick when I first got it done and being on my period I don't have stomach cramps or anything so it's okay but a girl knows what it's like to be on your period.

So that bits not great but everyone is different and if you got it you might not have the same side effects you might get totally different ones or you may get none at all.

Thanks for reading please leave a comment.

Skin Care Routine

Welcome to my blog,

I have been using these products for a good few weeks now and thought I'd tell you what I use and do during my skin care routine.

I do this in the morning and at night. I cleanse, tone and moisturise my skin. Using a little bit of the product I put it on to a cotton pad and wipe over my face and down my neck.

The products I use are:
Clean and clear deep cleansing lotion £3.10

Garnier refreshing toner £3.29

Clean and clear dual action moisturiser £3.20

These are all of the products I use at the moment for my skin care routine. All of these are purchased from boots as they had a 2 for 1 offer on the clean and clear products and I've only ever heard good reviews about the brand. Overall it cost around £6 for all of these products which only makes them roughly £2 each which I think is such a bargain for these products.

Even though I've only used them for a few weeks hopefully it will soon start working and clearing up my skin.

Reviews on each product are to follow.

My Experience At The Job Centre #2

Welcome to my blog,

I recently did a blog on my first experience of going to the job centre so I thought I'd do my second experience of attending.

I had an appointment set up with my young persons advisor (the person you meet up with every now and again so they can see how you're doing on job searches and take a look at your cv). I had a man as my advisor and soon as I sat down with him I knew I wouldn't like him they are all quite moany in the job centre and he was definitely one of them. I didn't feel comfortable with him or even talking to him, I didn't want to be there and the time felt like it went by ridiculously slow.

I started telling him about my depression and anxiety explaining how I didn't want to go to a meeting that had been set up with him and  a few others that attended the job centre I spoke about it not helping me in anyway at all and I already didn't want to attend.

He really didn't give a s**t about me and my feelings and I ended up breaking down telling him how I felt all because I didn't want to attend. He just came across so rude and didn't even offer me a tissue to wipe my eyes I had to ask for a tissue myself (because you know someone crying in front of you doesn't make you think of asking if that person would like a tissue?).

He still was so persistent about the meeting and me to attend it, but that day came and I ended up emailing in saying I had been sick because of my anxiety and depression wasn't at all handling this situation well as you could guess.

I ended up having another meeting with him and had to go through telling him all about my situation again and this time he said I'd probably be better off on ESA (for those who haven't heard of ESA its a different claim but you go through the doctors to get a medical sick note as proof of being to ill to work).

I preferred this if I'm honest there was no stupid meetings it was just between me and my doctor the only thing I was worried about was the fact that when I would end up having a meeting about my health that they would determine whether I am ill enough to be on ESA or whether I should be back on JSA (job seekers allowance) I really didn't want to be back on that again but luckily I never was on it long enough to have a meeting about my health.

Collection pressed powder review

Welcome to my blog,

When I first got in to make up I knew that a main product to have is a powder to set my makeup (using a powder helps your makeup last longer).

Being as I was staring to get in to it I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the products as I new collection did a good concealer that everyone seems to love I thought that the powders they do can't be that bad so I walked in to boots and went to the collection stand.

I picked up the pressed powder which was in the shade 24 misty beige the lightest one that they did and from the look of it, it looked really pale but that was because the lighting they used on the product made it look that way I didn't notice the change of the colour until I got home unfortunately but still tried it out.

I found it to be quite orange and even though my foundation was only a little bit to dark for my skin I blended it in so it wasn't as noticeable but the powder just made it look worse.

I wouldn't recommend this product unless you was going to use it for a different reason or if it actually suited your skin tone.

Creightons Squeaky Clean Pore Pow Wow Face Mask Review

Welcome to my blog,

I brought this from poundland as my skin started to breakout and I just hated it and wanted to do something about it so I brought this as I thought it looked like the other brand soap and glory.

It's a very creamy texture and says it only takes up to 5 minutes for it to be done.
It does say you can leave it on for longer if you want to. The 5 minutes seems to always go by so fast. I use a brush to apply it to my face and a flannel to take it off but have recently brought my self a facial cleansing pad from Primark to use that to take it off with. The mask dries on to the face within the 5 minutes but doesn't get as hard as other face masks tend to. I feel that this face mask made me break out more and then calmed it down once they had gone. I don't know if I'd buy this product again but for it to be from poundland it is not a bad product.

Update - I ended up not using it which I guess means I feel that this product wasn't doing a good enough job for me to continue using I definitely won't be buying this again and will be looking for a new product to use on my face  to help with my skin routine during pamper sessions.
