Welcome to my blog,
Today I had an interview at argos.
I arrived 15 minutes early like your supposed to, to show your keen on working there. I walked in said I was there for an assessment and then signed myself in and waited for someone to come down and collect us. I started chatting to a girl there and got on well with her. There was about 15 of us there.
The man came downstairs to collect us and walked us up to the room. As we entered he asked what size jumper, shirt and trousers we where. Which sounded promising if they asked us that information. We sat down they introduced them self and then let us talk to the person we where sat next to. We then had to introduce them to the rest of the group and tell them what facts we found out about them.
They then put a video on that went through the past of argos adverts and a bit of history about the place.
We where then separated in to three groups (I wasn't with the girl I met) and then made to do some tasks the first task was a question about 'do we think all customers should be treated the same?' or something like that.
Then we swapped around and had to do an interview answering scenarios of what I'd do, a few questions about argos and what my availability was to work.
Then we swapped around again and had to do a poster on and old lady trying to by a camera and we had to write down what questions we'd ask her to help her find what she was looking for while using the argos books to put pictures of cameras on to the poster.
We then had to present them to the group (the poster and the question we where asked).
This took about 2 hours but we ran over half an hour, then they asked us if there where any questions that we had ( I asked about there tattoo and piercing policy).
We then had to write on a sticky note why we wanted to work there and stick them up on the board and then as we was leaving they took a picture of us and showed us out.

It was an alright process as I'm not really a fan of group interviews but they said they will tell us tonight or tomorrow so fingers crossed that I did better than I thought.
Considering I really did try my best.
Beautiful Belongings
