Welcome to my blog,
I first went to the job centre to sign on around my 18th birthday. I had just finished doing a beauty course in life skills and when I completed it it was to late to head back in to college for my education so I took a year off to get myself a part/full time job to earn myself some money.
The first time I went in for my interview with them my boyfriend came with me for support as it says on there website you are allowed to, as soon as I walked in and said what I was there for they automatically wanted to know why my boyfriend was there and that they didn't have 'enough room' for him to stay.
I told them that the website said it was ok for him to be there and that maybe they should read it for them self before jumping down my throat about it. The lady was so rude continuously saying there wasn't enough space for him to be there so I said it was fine and that he could stand. I really wasn't expecting to be there that long I know they pay you money for these things but why do they all have to think they are better than you because of you being there.
It's just not needed and they all make you feel like crap for going there.
Avoid going to the job centre for as long as you can jstay in education, if you don't enjoy the course you are doing then do your best to change it or have a job you can go to so you don't have to go to the job centre.
Worst decision I've ever made and I will do everything in the future to avoid it if I ever have to go back.
Beautiful Belongings
