Primark P.S Love This Exfoliating Gloves Review

Welcome to my blog,

I brought these to use with the body scrub to help with my at home fake tanning. This was £1.

I have seen a pair like this in super drug and boots. So thought instead of spending quite a bit why not get it cheaper.

I'm really happy I picked this up. I use this when I'm in the shower. I believe it can be used by itself or with a body scrub, either way I believe using one or the other you get the same outcome.

Having these has made me think about maybe getting a pair of soap and glory's exfoliating gloves as there a bit thicker so hopefully won't wear away quicker (my primark exfoliating gloves haven't worn away but with soap and glory's gloves being thicker I think they should definitely last longer than what primark gloves would)  and I have only seen good reviews on them.

These exfoliating gloves are not really thick there easy to use and do the job, this was definitely a good buy and when they start to thinnen out and lose the roughness of them there easy to throw away and pick another pair up for a pound.

I don't think there a waste of money as exfoliating your body should only be around 1 - 3 times a week depending on what you're exfoliating for and they do work well.

I definitely recommend these if you have seen these in primark and thought about trying out exfoliating to get rid of dead skin cells and making your skin healthier but don't want to spend a lot of money then definitely give them a go.

McDonald's Interview

Welcome to my blog,

Today I had my interview at McDonald's if you could even call it an interview.

I walked in up to the bit where they serve and said I was there for an interview and the woman I was having it with.

I got took upstairs and spoke to the lady probably for 5 - 10 minutes.

She had a casual chat with me and asked me my availability. Then pretty much offered it to me straight away. It's definitely one of the easiest job interviews I've ever done and the lady interviewing me was really nice.

I explained my situation and she said she was happy to offer me the job as long as I wasn't working in the other place on the weekend.

If you have a McDonald's interview coming up do not stress it is not worth it.

The only person who can get a job is yourself, it's down to you.

Argos Interview

Welcome to my blog,

Today I had an interview at argos.
I arrived 15 minutes early like your supposed to, to show your keen on working there. I walked in said I was there for an assessment and then signed myself in and waited for someone to come down and collect us. I started chatting to a girl there and got on well with her. There was about 15 of us there.

The man came downstairs to collect us and walked us up to the room. As we entered he asked what size jumper, shirt and trousers we where. Which sounded promising if they asked us that information. We sat down they introduced them self and then let us talk to the person we where sat next to. We then had to introduce them to the rest of the group and tell them what facts we found out about them.

They then put a video on that went through the past of argos adverts and a bit of history about the place.

We where then separated in to three groups (I wasn't with the girl I met) and then made to do some tasks the first task was a question about  'do we think all customers should be treated the same?' or something like that.

Then we swapped around and had to do an interview answering scenarios of what I'd do, a few questions about argos and what my availability was to work.

Then we swapped around again and had to do a poster on and old lady trying to by a camera and we had to write down what questions we'd ask her to help her find what she was looking for while using the argos books to put pictures of cameras on to the poster.

We then had to present them to the group (the poster and the question we where asked).

This took about 2 hours but we ran over half an hour, then they asked us if there where any questions that we had ( I asked about there tattoo and piercing policy).

We then had to write on a sticky note why we wanted to work there and stick them up on the board and then as we was leaving they took a picture of us and showed us out.

It was an alright process as I'm not really a fan of group interviews but they said they will tell us tonight or tomorrow so fingers crossed that I did better than I thought.

Considering I really did try my best.

Epilcare Depilatory Ready To Use Wax Strip Review

Welcome to my blog,

I picked this up from poundland to wax my legs with so I thought I'd do a review on it to see if it was any good. I've not heard of this brand before or even seen this packaging in there.

You get 20 strips all double sided and reusable. So you get 4 wax strips for legs and body and then 6 wax strips for your face.

I found that they don't work as well as other wax strips. I warmed it up in between my hands and smoothed it down onto my leg it did pull some hairs off but not all of them like I thought it would as I'm not extremely hairy or have dark hairs but they're still visible. I think I managed to use one strip at least 4 - 5 times before it stopped being sticky.

I'm quite disappointed in this product. I haven't used the strips on my face yet but I'm sure it will be the same. I won't be buying this again if I see it.

Primark Beauty Haul

Welcome to my blog,

Popped in to primark today to see what was new in the beauty section in the shop near me.

Only picked up a few items but since I picked up the fake tan I brought from there I decided to do it properly instead of just applying it and not doing any preparation for it. Here's what I brought.

Thought I'd get this as I wanted to try it out even though I'm not such a big eyeliner girl. It was only £1.

Picked this up to help me with my fake tanning. This was £1.50.

These where also to go with my at home tanning routine and these where £1.

Ive seen people making these at home there self but as I see it in primark I thought I'd pick there one up and try it out. This was £1.

I ended up picking this up to go with the gloves I brought to also help with my tanning routine. This was £2.

If you couldn't already tell Ive lately been having a slight obsession of getting myself in to a tanning routine.
I plan to do reviews on all of these products and they will be up once I have tested them out.
(Hopefully fairly  soon).

Overwhelmed With Interviews

Welcome to my blog,

I have been planning to attend an interview for a few days now. I don't deal to well when under pressure so this is the best thing to help me really calm my self down and prepare for it.

But last night I received 2 extra emails inviting me for a job interview. Now I know I should be really pleased and happy but now that's put more stress on me I really want a job and will attend all 3 interviews that I have been offered to go to.

It's just the fact I put so much effort in to mentally preparing my self for the first interview that I now have to mentally prepare for the other 2. I feel so over whelmed with it and quite shocked as I'm used to receiving emails saying that they have found someone else who matches what there looking for. So to receive 1 interview and then receive another 2 has really put me out of my comfort zone. I've tried my best getting ready for the first 2 interviews as the 3rd is next month so I don't need to focus on that as of now.

I guess all I can do is try my best and hope it is good enough for 1 of them to accept me especially as it will be my first job.

(I will write a blog saying how I got on)

Brighton Primark mini haul

Hey welcome to my blog

In my Brighton day trip blog I went to Primark and brought a few things and said I'd do a mini haul on it.

Here's what I got from my trip:

I decided to get myself a new hairbrush as the one I have now is literally falling apart on me. I'm hoping this is going to be really good quality or at least last me a few months. This was £1.

Saw these and thought I'd try them out and give them a go. I'm not someone who normally wears fake nails and things but I would really like to start wearing them and as they where only a £1 I thought I'd try them out.

I see this top in a haul video I watched on YouTube and really liked the fit of the top, it's got a cut down the back so it's perfect to wear by itself or to just have a strap top on underneath. This was £6.

I acctually didn't think this is something I'd see in primark and I've recently started to get in to fake tanning. I know this is a big brand and I'm very excited to test it out. This was £6.

Making A Chicken Curry

Welcome to my blog,

A few days ago I decided to try and make a curry with my boyfriend. I have never made one before only ever had curries that are microwave meals. I purchased the chicken bits and the curry sauce from Iceland.

I enjoyed cooking it as it was something new and looked and smelled good while it was cooking.

Even better as it didn't take long to make the sauce and chicken both cooked through quite quickly.

This was the outcome. I liked the chicken but not the sauce that we had brought. If I did it again I'd definitely use a different sauce or just pick up a microwave curry and pick up some chicken to have with it as extra.

April 2015 Primark Haul

Hey welcome to my blog,

So I recently popped in to primark and picked up a few things maybe more than I needed but oh well I've brought them now. Here's what I got most of it is creased as it's been in the bag for a while now. (Some things may not have prices as I've already either worn them or took the label off, and I can't find my receipt)

I don't really wear bikinis but I couldn't resist picking this up. I love the plaits on the side of the knickers and the back of the bikini and how its frilly on the bikini top. The bikini top was £6 and the knickers where £4.

I had seen this top in peoples primark hauls and them trying it on so I thought I'd get it the detailing goes along the bottom of the top and around where the arms are. Its a off the shoulder kind of top and this was £5.

Saw this and had to have it. I'm not normally one to wear dresses but I just really liked this so picked it up. When I tried it on the only down side was I found it to be a bit see through. This was £8.

This is another off the shoulder kind of top and I just loved the detail on it. This was £6.

Another dress I picked up. Its off the shoulders and the type of dress I had been looking for as I wanted one that would show of my figure (if I had one) and would be long enough to go past my knees. This was £5.

I have wanted dungarees for ages and ages, and finally I have actually found one that I liked. This was £12.

This is an over sized top with a zip down the back of it I'd wear with leggings or jeans. I just really like having over sized things I find them do comfortable and easy to just chuck on with most of the clothes that I own. I don't know the price of this one but I believe it was about £5 or £8.

Just to add I also went in to peacocks and picked myself up a little purse as the other one I have is quite big and doesn't fit in to my coat pockets. This was £5.

Day trip to Brighton

Hey welcome to my blog,

Today I took my first longest drive Ive ever done in my car. I have planned this trip for ages and today I finally went and did it.

I parked down by the sea front and it was so expensive me and my boyfriend ended up paying £15 for 11 hours, we didn't know where else to drive and I was so bored of driving I just wanted to get out and walk as unfortunately I have no idea where I could of gone there for it to be cheaper.

We went down the pier and then off to town to see what was around.

We had dinner at GBK (Gourmet Burger Kitchen) I had a cheese burger and skinny fries and my boyfriend had a classic burger with skinny fries (was really nice but the fries really was skinny I literally didn't expect them to be as skinny as they where) I'd definitely eat there again but I don't think I'd have skinny fries again.

As always popped in to Primark and picked up a few things. (will do a mini haul in another post.)

Driving there and driving back home I feel like I did very well considering the sat nav I was using wasn't charging and died on us in the middle of the motorway. I had to follow signs the whole way home from somewhere I've never been and I'm not the best at that.

I had a great day even if it was expensive but considering it was my first big drive im pretty proud of myself.
