Babyliss Rose Quartz 235 Hair Straighteners Review

Hello Everyone, 

Recently purchased these literally because they where on sale for £29.99 down from £60. The ones I had before this I had, had them for years and it was obvious so I treated myself.

I had looked for reviews on this product but I couldn't find many.

It comes with a heat mat and is digital for the way it shows what temperature it is at. It heats up very fast and straightens my hair really well. I have naturally curly/wavy hair which is super annoying to have and I wish it was naturally straight . Very good for the price and hopefully I won't have to buy another for a good few years.

Decisions, Decisions

Welcome to my blog,

I work in retail and have been asked to move stores. The problem is there both very different I know everyone who works in the store I work full time in at the minute and not everybody who is in the other store. 

The problem is in the other store where I have been given the opportunity is that the way they deal with things feels a lot differently compared to the store I work at full time. The store also has a continuously moody woman there who just makes me feel like I don't know what I'm doing most of the time. She just pisses me off when this happens. The only good things I can pick out about this store is the fact that it's busy and isn't as far away from where I live compared to the store I'm permanently at now.

Is it right on me to turn it down and let my manager know I would like to stay at the store I work in permanently now and go the other store just when I'm needed. 

I just feel like it was so much to think about and so hard to make a decision but I only had one day to decide at least if I change my mind later on it shouldn't be to hard for me to let my manager know. But right now I feel like I have a lot more to learn before I can take on a bigger store.

Am I doing the right thing?

McDonald's Interview

Welcome to my blog,

Today I had my interview at McDonald's if you could even call it an interview.

I walked in up to the bit where they serve and said I was there for an interview and the woman I was having it with.

I got took upstairs and spoke to the lady probably for 5 - 10 minutes. 

She had a casual chat with me and asked me my availability. Then pretty much offered it to me straight away. It's definitely one of the easiest job interviews I've ever done and the lady interviewing me was really nice.

I explained my situation and she said she was happy to offer me the job as long as I wasn't working in the other place on the weekend.

If you have a McDonald's interview coming up do not stress it is not worth it. 

The only person who can get a job is yourself, it's down to you.

Interview Outcome

Hey welcome to my blog,

Recently I went for a job interview and ended up getting a trial shift there at the farm place and not to long ago I had an email from them saying I didn't get it I'm fine with it and it didn't bother me to much as there are other jobs out there it's just the fact it was an email from them and not a phone call. If it was a phone call at least I would of been able to ask what I did wrong and why they didn't want someone like me to be working there. Right now I feel hopeless I've applied for so many jobs and that was the closest I had ever got to having one. Oh well life goes on right?

Story From My Past

Hey guys, 

So today will be a short post just about what I did in my past told a bit like a story. (Bit unusual I guess)

 

I was in primary school at the time, and one of my best friends had glasses. I thought they where so cool and wanted a pair for myself and I knew my eye test was coming up not long after. So me only being young planned out what I was going to do. I walked in to the place for my eye test with my mum and sister and put the funny glasses on and told the woman that was checking my eyes different letters to what was on the board haha I actually thought this was going to work. At the end she told my mum my eyes where fine and I left with out a pair of glasses. Safe to say I never did that again.
